Dear Sirs,
I wished to contact you and thank you for you're highly dedicated and professional service in supporting Skylink Aviation Inc' helicopter contract for the Canadian Government during the Lebanon Crisis.
As you are aware during the mission Canadian Air Force Helicopter pilots flew with you're crew as Air Liaison Officers. Major Pete Lalancette, Squadron Commander for 430 Tactical Helicopter Squadron who flew with you're crew advised me that the Brigadier General of the Canadian Air Command was formulating a letter of thanks to Skylink Aviation and Ukrainian Helicopters for you're professional and dedicated flight services as well as you're commitment to air safety and maintenance that led to a 100% performance with no days lost due to mechanical problems.
Major Lalanacette and his pilots were greatly impressed by Ukrainian Helicopters pilots professionalism, airmanship and high aviation safety commitment, while still maintaining a can do and positive attitude towards all aspects of the mission. He found you're pilots to be of the highest caliber and he has a great deal of respect for the entire team. As such, a formal letter of recommendation from the senior level of the Canadian Air Force is being formulated for both Skylink Aviation's performance and Ukrainian Helicopters and I will forward this to you as soon as I have received a copy.
As a former United Nations World Food Programme Air Operations manager, and a current Regional Manager for Skylink aviation, I can tell you that Ukrainian Helicopters has some of the most professional aircrew and maintenance operations in the industry. You're aircrew always had a positive and professional attitude and got the job done when the situation was not always perfect, without complaints and a high degree of professional dedication to accomplishing the task. The extensive spare parts you came on mission with, allowed the helicopters to operate at 100% and this was greatly appreciated by Skylink and the Canadian Government..
