SUBJET: Deployment of Rotor Wing Aircraft in Support of CNMC field assessment visit. END OF OPERATION

1.       The CNMC field assessment visit (phase 4A) in which you deployed a rotor wing aircraft from ONUCI operated by UKRAINE Helicopter company, to support the CNMC logistic and operational requirements was completed on April 02, 2009. The helicopter, its crew and manager thereafter repositioned to its base (Abidjan) on March 06, 2009.

2.       During the operation, field support tasks were all successfully carried out by the helicopter and its crew. The flight crew's unreserved strength and commitment, in addition to their professionalism and cooperation enabled the completion of the field visit positive achievements well ahead of time. The flight crew and site manager demonstrated exemplary performance in the challenging terrain and meteorological conditions that were prevailing during the visit. This made the assessment visit a success.

3. UNOWA therefore wishes to express its appreciation for the constant consideration you put in its logistic support demands, your ability to assess its requirements and appropriately allocate resources in support of its requirements.
